REQUEST FOR EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST (Consulting services) Kyrgyz Republic: CAREC Corridors 1 and 3 Connector Road Project (CRP) (Loan 3432/Grant 0496) Position Title: Road Safety Engineer (CRP), Office Manager/Secretary (CRP)

The Ministry of Transport and Communications of the Kyrgyz Republic (Client) hereby requests to submit price quotation/(s) for the performance of services for website development of the Project Implementation Unit, № CAREC 1&3/CRP/веб-сайт/2022, more detailed in the Scope of Services attached as Appendix A to the REQUEST FOR QUOTATION - SERVICES (RFQS).

The Ministry of transport and communications of the Kyrgyz Republic (Client) hereby requests to submit price quotation/(s) for the performance of Services for carrying out PR-campaign in support of MOTC KR reforms, № CAREC 1&3/CRP/PR-company MOTC/2022, more detailed described in the Scope of Services attached as Appendix A to the REQUEST FOR QUOTATION - SERVICES (RFQS).

The MOTC now invites eligible Individual Consultants (Consultants) to express their interest in providing the Services. Consultants are expected to provide information proving the required qualifications and relevant experience to perform the Services.

MOTC will engage an International Road Safety Capacity Development Consultant (IRSCDC) for sub-output 1 and a team of international and national consultants (Team B) for sub-outputs 2 and 3 combined.

RAMS Phase II aims to sustain the effort made under Phase I through the CAREC Corridor 1 and 3 Connector Road Project by mainstreaming the RAMS in Ministry of Transport and Communication's (MOTC) business practice through (i) collecting additional data, (ii) enhancing the systems and technical documents, (iii) supporting the RAMS Unit and (iv) assisting the Kyrgyz State University on Construction, Transport and Architecture (KSUCTA) in introducing a new course on RAMS including training of teachers.

The Government of the Kyrgyz Republic has received financing from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) for the Central Asia Regional Economic Cooperation Corridors 1 and 3 Connector Road Project (Phase 2) - Additional Financing that includes a road safety component. This component is expected to have three outputs: (i) Output 1: Development of a national road safety strategy, (ii) Output 2: Road safety auditing put into practice by the Ministry of Transport and Communications of the Kyrgyz Republic (MOTC KR), and (iii) Output 3: Latest technologies to provide safer transport services on the project roads.
